I’m glad you liked it! We did the planning pieces together and split the work amongst everyone. We did ask each other for help/advice throughout. In the end, I assembled everyone’s parts together into the report and another team member created the presentation from the report.
For your second question, this was not the best idea on our part. Euclidean distance for discrete variables are often meaningless. Unfortunately, we did this part last and did not have time to make any adjustments. Our justification was that since its an ordinal variable, the distance would still be somewhat meaningful. In retrospect, I would have elected to normalize company ratings onto an interval between 0 and 1.
